1. More comfort with the LinkedIn app
Do you use the LinkedIn APP for your daily work on LinkedIn? How often do you see an interesting post and then can’t find it? That’s over now! Save the post using the 3 dots in the top right-hand corner and then click on your profile picture in the top left-hand corner of the app to call it up again later. Now you can find the saved post immediately in the APP view and no longer have to go to your profile and then to the resources. Voilá, it can be that easy when a developer realises this!
2. Following gets a new ‘look’
As you have probably already read in some of my newsletter issues, ‘following’ plays an important role on LinkedIn. At the moment of connecting, you follow each other automatically or you select an interesting person and follow that person. For both actions, a grey bell was displayed in the top right-hand corner of the ‘followed’ person’s profile. Many people did not know how to use the bell and what content they could now see. LinkedIn has come up with a new display for this.
· With the grey bell you now get ‘Most relevant’ posts in your feed.
· With the double bell you can see all of the person’s posts.
· With the white crossed-out bell, you stop listening to the person.
I find this display much better and clearer. You can also check out my older posts on the subject of following.
