LinkedIn Services – verification – schedule posts

1. Services

If you are a service provider or work in sales for services, you should keep an eye on the ‘Services’ options on LinkedIn. The service categories are predefined by LinkedIn and can be selected. Within this division, you are sure to find services that you offer.

What are the advantages of positioning yourself via services?

A: You will be found in the ‘Services’ category

B: You can ask existing contacts/customers to rate your services

C: If you have received reviews, they will be visible in the search results and you will stand out!

D: Anyone who sees your services can send you a service enquiry free of charge and does not need to be connected to you.

E: You can include documents, presentations or links in your services and become professionally visible.

Curious? Then get started now and stand out!

P.S. Have a look at my website in advance to see how nicely it fits into your profile.

2. Verification for company pages (for page admins)

You will also be able to verify your company page in future. The process is currently rolling out in Germany. If you want to speed it up, you can submit a request via LinkedIn.

To do this, go to your company page in the ‘Settings’ area, then continue via ‘Controls for verification’.

3. Finalise posts later, schedule shared posts

Small improvements to make posts easier to work on are ‘secretly’ creeping in. Many people don’t realise that if you create a post and can’t send it because information is still missing, you can simply click on the ‘x’ at the top right to save the post as a template.

If you then open a post again, the preview window will now show that you have a pending draft post. This helps a lot, as many people didn’t know where the post was, they had started 😉.

Also note that you can now schedule posts (external posts) that you share in your network, just as you do when creating a new posts. This means you can now plan good content with added value in advance.
